“The Kiss by the Hôtel de Ville” can be considered one of the best advertising of Paris (as a city of love) ever made. This romantic photo was taken on a Parisian street by Robert Doisneau in 1950 and widely reproduced since 1986. More than 500,000 posters and 400,000 postcards have been reprinted from the original and placed around a thousand pizza houses and themed Parisian brasseries.
